(April 17, 2013) The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) has applied for accreditation for a new Bachelor of Naturopathic degree program in Ontario. Today, the Committee for the Advancement of Scientific Skepticism submitted feedback to Ontario's Postsecondary Education Quality Assessment Board (PEQAB), explaining why we think this would be a serious step backwards for the quality of education in the province.
(April 27, 2010) - Naturopathic Medicine Week is taking place from May 3rd to the 9th, and one of its aims is to promote the use of so-called "natural" medicines. Naturopathic products have gained a huge market in Canada and the US during the past decade.

Toronto, Ont. (April 30, 2010) — May 3rd to the 9th marks the 2010 Naturopathic Medicine Week in Canada. There is no better time to ask if the therapeutics offered by naturopaths actually have any basis in modern science and medicine. When the evidence is evaluated rationally, we find there are a lot of promises, but very few reasons to believe any of them.
